I'm Mike Pettine, a NFL caliber Defensive Coordinator. My philosophy is to look to the future, and to take big jumps from year to year. And by big jumps I mean giving up bigger and bigger chunks of lightly contested underneath passes. There are not too many coaches with a defense built around Cover 4 principles and throwing stud cornerbacks like Preston Smith into coverage, but I'm not your average coach.
